Downtown Mt. Vernon, on the river walk, you'll find the "Tulip Dance." The giant tulips sculpture honors the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.

The former riverfront parking lot strip has been transformed into a pleasant "river walk," and the giant flowers are meant to be nice, not alarming.
