There's a big red Pegasus on a roof elsewhere in Dallas, but it's just a copy of this one, which was built in 1934, restored in May 2015, the 35x40-foot sign revolves slowly, once every five minutes.

Directions:: West side of downtown, in front of the Omni Hotel. On the south side of Young St. between S. Market and S. Lamar Sts, but closer to Lamar.
Hours:: Impressive day or night. Local health policies may affect hours and access.

Big Neon Red Pegasus

This is one of two giant red Pegasuses in downtown Dallas. This one rotates at street level outside the convention center hotel. Really impressive to get the scale of the size of it!

Tip: For a different perspective go inside to the second level of the hotel.

Restored in May 2015, the 35x40-foot sign is now perched atop a squat oil derrick on the lawn of an upscale Dallas hotel. It's outlined in red neon and revolves slowly, once every five minutes.
