World's Largest Apron Museum

The exterior is very humble, but the interior is packed with aprons. The best part is conversing with the owners who get aprons donated from all over the world, the majority of which come with stories. There are aprons from the Civil War, World War I, men's, women's and even some naughty aprons.

World's Largest Apron Museum

My sister and her fiance live in Iuka, and I go to visit them every few months. On my last visit they took me to this little shop in the downtown section that is owned by the Terrys, an older couple. Inside you will find clotheslines that stretch all the way across the room, which hold thousands of Mrs. Terry's hand-sewn aprons. These are not your everyday designs. There is a Star Wars apron, a Family Guy apron, an apron made out of pushpins, and an apron with a napkin signed by Tom Cruise stapled onto it. A must-see for travelers who enjoy pop culture.

"Only museum dedicated to aprons and the stories they tell." Carolyn Terry is called "The Apron Lady."
