Altus, Oklahoma: ICBM Missile at Missile Park

Altus was home to the 577th Strategic Missile Squadron (1961-1965). The deactivated ICBM rocket serves as a landmark for the town's baseball fields. Region is still dotted with decommissioned missile silos.

Altus Air Force Base is nearby, but this decommissioned ICBM missile is strictly for show (and can theoretically take a home run pounding from the adjacent baseball field).
