Book-Reading Praying Mantis

A large praying mantis, wearing glasses and reading a book, stands outside the main Jackson library. It is made out of some type of metal, is approximately 20 feet tall, and is painted a pale green.

Officially titled "Reading Mantis," it was sculpted from recycled metal by local artist Tim Pace.
