Cave Of The Mounds
The million year-old natural limestone cave -- called the "jewel box" of major American caves -- was discovered when quarry workers blasted a section of the quarry and exposed it. Now, a gift shop selling gem stones and giving tours sits atop the opening. Visitors can also practice sifting for gold and see animals in an on-site barn.
