World's Largest Outdoor Sale

I just received my Amoco travel magazine, and it had the greatest article about this awesome "Route 127 Corridor Sale" — an annual event in the south.

At 450 miles long — It is billed as the world's largest outdoor sale, and takes place over a long weekend in August every year. It begins in Covington, Kentucky and hundreds upon hundreds of folks along the route set up anywhere from one table to a complete yard/house contents — a true flea marketer's or garage sale-ers paradise!

Route 127 is a two-lane winding road that goes through the mountains of Tennessee. When Route 127 hits Chattanooga, the route changes to the Lookout Mountain Parkway.
