Directions:: I-25 exit 215. Turn east onto E. 58th Ave. Drive three blocks. Turn right onto Washington St. Drive a couple hundred feet, then turn right at the Mapleton sign. Drive to the back of the parking lot and you'll see Hammond's Candies on the left.
Hours:: M-F 9-3, Sa 10-3. Tours on the half-hour. (Call to verify) Local health policies may affect hours and access.

They were making Easter bunnies when we stopped by, and the kids were fascinated by the process. The gift shop has loads of discounted and hard-to find-candy.

Hammond's Candies Tour

Very interesting factory tour, with a video on the history of the company, followed by a walk-thru tour of the candy making and packaging. Fun and free, and you get a free sample at the end (and they have lots of discounted candy in the gift shop).
