A fantastic collection of automobiles and revolving exhibits. We went there to see the 1966 Batmobile -- it was like the Holy Grail for me. Also, we saw the Black Beauty from the Green Hornet TV series, John Densmore's truck, and the actual cars that were used to make the hot wheel models from, including the Mongoose and the Cobra.[Gene Murrell, 07/01/2014]

The motorcycle is by artist John Holt, with a sculpted metal skeleton over nine feet tall (if standing) clutching the front wheel. The eyes in the skull are headlights.
A taxi which appeared in over 30 episodes of Seinfeld has been donated to the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles, CA. The owners, Budget Rent A Car of Beverly Hills opted to give the gift to the museum, a branch of the Natural History Museum of LA County.... [10/20/1998] Complete News Story
