We were just there on 5/29/21. They have two courses: a 1929 course, and a 1959 course, as well as a beer garden. Highly recommend when you are in San Antonio.

In late January 2019. We tried to visit but found it closed and plants dead. Called the phone number and got a recording stating that the course was closed for the winter season. They did not state what that season was.

Historic Cool Crest Mini Golf

Cool Crest Miniature Golf opened in 1929 at the height of the miniature golf craze. The original 1920s course still exists in impeccable condition, making it one of the oldest courses in America. Vintage music, beautiful plants, and unique course challenges make it a joy to play.

Cool Crest closed in 2007 and the property was rotting away. Then it was purchased by some fans, the golf course was restored, and it reopened in 2013.
