Bill Clinton And Big Melons
Stopped at the Hope City Visitor Center and Museum.
[Kim Clark, 04/29/2017]At the Hope visitors center, there is a replica of a world record watermelon. Since it was made the record has been surpassed, but still it's pretty important to Hope. All the watermelons grown in the area are authorized to bear stickers reading "Genuine Hope Watermelon."
Hope also is the birthplace of Bill Clinton and there are some Clinton-related attractions there. The restored home of his early childhood, for one.
