Gulfport, Florida: Beach Tomb of Morris the Cat
For 15 years Morris was the unofficial animal of Gulfport. His favorite spot was the city's beachfront casino, and when he died in 1985 his ashes were entombed in a custom-made mini-mausoleum that stands between the casino and the beach. It's topped with a full-color metal likeness of Morris.

- On the south side of Shore Blvd S. at its intersection with Beach Blvd S. The crypt is inside an upright freestanding pillar, to the right and slightly behind the Gulfport Casino, along a cement walkway that encircles the Casino.
