Oklahoma Music Mural

A mural features a big Elvis Presley along with Hoyt Axton and his mother, Mae Boren Axton. It celebrates Duncan as Hoyt's birthplace, and also Mae's writing of Elvis' #1 hit, "Heartbreak Hotel," in the lobby of the building -- formerly a hotel -- on which the mural is painted. Hoyt's story and the history of Oklahoma's Rhythm and Routes music trail is on the building.
