At the entrance of Lakeview Park sits a large, brightly painted Easter Basket made of concrete. A former resident told me the basket has been around for over 60 years, and is a popular photo spot in the Spring. A memorial plaque celebrates the creator and suggests that there may have been more baskets around town at one time.
