Cowboy Muffler Man

I live in Longmont, Colorado, about 5 miles from your Lyons Muffler Man. (We prefer to call him the Longmont Muffler Man.) My children have grown up next to this muffler man, and have frequently fed the ducks at his feet. Well, 30 yards down the road from him.[Mark Laitos, 08/17/1997]
July 2003: Don Koharski updates: "He's still there-- the cowboy variety holding a custom-made pitchfork. The wind must be tough on him, because he's got about 6 different guy wires holding him in place. Presides over a hay farm."
Here is a muffler man just east (about 2 miles) of Lyons. He's on the front lawn of a home. He's dressed like a farmer and is holding a pitchfork. Lyons is about 10 miles north of Boulder.[Allan Orlofsky, 09/15/1996]
