Amelia Earhart Earthwork Face

There is a lookout point, but all you can see is a bunch of plants.

Amelia Earhart Earthwork Face

It's not really visible from the ground. It's not worth the drive unless you're going to the park.

[Laura, 06/16/2020]

The face is built into a slight hill, so it's kind of visible if you step back far enough. Probably a more rewarding stop for travelers accompanied by remote camera drones.

Amelia Earhart Earthwork

The earthwork doesn't look as though it's had much care in the last few years. It's not really worth the drive out of town.

Amelia Earhart-shaped Earthwork

South of Atchison is a huge tribute to native daughter Amelia Earhart. It's a dirt and plant profile. I assume it looks much better from the air than it does from the ground.
