About 15 miles north of Memphis off of Highway 51 at the Shelby and Tipton County line, Muffler Man is standing on the west side of the highway facing southwards. He is selling fireworks. Hopefully, he will be back around July 4th.
[Don Hudgins, 01/20/2002]There are a few of the M-Men here. They usually appear at Christmas thru New Years, then hibernate till Fourth of July. They belong to a local tent company which uses them as advertising when they put up tents for the holiday season in conjunction with Fireworks sales. I have personally seen two and have heard of a third. There is also another one associated with a Gutter company here in Memphis. He is decorated with the Gutterman Logo.
