David Crockett Spring.

Davy Crockett Spring

Davy Crockett and a small detachment of men camped here on their way to defend the Alamo. A historical plaque marks the site where the spring still flows. The fountain does not work. It did 18 years ago, the first time I found it. But not on my latest visit: August 5, 2017.
