Santa Claus, Indiana - Holiday World

Started out as Santa Claus Land, (you can still get your picture on Santa's lap even in the middle of summer)but has changed with the times. Nice amusement park with sections designed around various holiday themes (July 4th, Halloween, Christmas, etc). Includes a separate section of rides for kids under 42" tall and award winning roller coasters. It has an excellent water park with slides, river float, rapids, and a wave pool. A smaller amusement park, but staff is friendlier and lines are smaller than most places. [Yvonne Bertke, 03/28/2002]

Address: Santa Claus, IN
Directions: Interstate 64 to exit 63. South on SR 162 to Santa Claus. Turn Right on SR 245. Holiday World parking lot is 1/2 mile on 245.
