Miss Uniroyal is stands in front of Stan's Tire Shop... Must admit that we were getting laughs from the workers as we jumped out to take pictures of her!

This Uniroyal Gal came to Mount Vernon from nearby Salem, where she stood next to a Muffler Man. After she left, Stan the Man stayed for a few years, then moved to his current home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Uniroyal Gal

The hands of the Uniroyal Gal standing outside of Stan's in Mt. Vernon, IL are now empty. Apparently she used to hold a tire, but during a road trip this week I noticed she was holding nothing. Thankfully, she's still there and looks to be in good condition (for someone who has to stand outside all year long).
