Greenville, Maine - Flying Moose

When I took mt last trip to Maine in July of 2006, the Flying Moose was still there! I'm glad nobody was behind me as I slammed on the brakes to do a double take (and get a picture!). [Molly, 05/21/2008]

Flying Moose statue. Greenville, Maine - Flying Moose

This flying moose carving is, I believe, a one piece wooden one. It marks the driveway of a private residence. It is between Greenville and Rockwood, Maine, on SR15 (state route 15). Greenville is at the southernmost point of Moosehead Lake and Rockwood is a small community of 200 souls, on the way to Canada. [Travis L. Smith, 08/31/1998]
