St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church - the church that is shaped like a fish! A bit of history from their website: "Known throughout the city as the 'Fish Church,' the building was designed by Barry Byrne in the Prairie School style and was dedicated in 1950 to much attention and acclaim. In 1987, it received the American Institute of Architects retrospective award for design excellence. The art in the church and the statue of St. Francis Xavier at the front of the building are by sculptor, Alphonso Ianelli."

Yea, thanks, another church shaped like a fish. Personally, we find these attractions are often disappointments. The last one we wasted roadtime on was in Stamford, CT. Instead of construction in the tradition of the sacred Leaping Muskie, Christian fish churches are always abstract post-Vatican II fish, arty and streamlined with nary a scale or blowhole!
