Is this attraction really still open to the public? I'd "heard" that the guy who'd run it as a museum sold it to a new owner, who agreed to preserve the house but I didn't think he was going to continue opening it up. It's still nice to look at from outside anyway. [Peter Youngman, 07/04/2004]

Due to government restrictions on the steel industry at the time, rather than construct gas stations the manufacturer built these sturdy homes for returning GIs.]
