Still standing watch on the side of Highway 89. There's fencing between him and the pull-off next to the highway, but you can go around and hang out at the picnic table.

Big Roy is big -- really big! He now holds a branding iron in his hands, and there's now a picnic table, and a guest book to sign for visitors. My mother and I know Big Roy's owner personally, and he took us for a ride to visit this attraction.

Here he is! The Hat Creek Muffler Man just erected. Freshly renovated and transformed into a cowboy; formerly a mechanic in Dunsmuir, CA. He's attracting lots of attention and will soon have a picnic table nearby for visitors to enjoy.
