What Roger neglected to mention is that "the big guy" is directly across the state highway from a working cattle ranch. The cowboy overlooks a loading chute and has caught the attention of many bovine residents.

Muffler Man Here he is! The Hat Creek Muffler Man just erected. Freshly renovated and transformed into a cowboy; formerly a mechanic in Dunsmuir, CA. He's attracting lots of attention and will soon have a picnic table nearby for visitors to enjoy.

He will be standing again very soon in the vicinity of Hat Creek, CA along state highway 89 about halfway between the junctions of highway 299 and highway 44.
