Edward Lowe was the inventor of Kitty Litter and Tidy Cat. He has since passed away but in no way did he go broke...a foundation in his name still exists in Cass County on some 2,500 acres and his widow resides in the biggest residence on Diamond Lake. She also owns no less than three other residences on the lake. [S Smith, 09/28/2008]
