Milan, Ohio - Midget City - Gone

The tip that Midget City was moved to Highway 17-92 between Orlando and Sanford, Florida is off by at least a dozen years. The attraction, which looks to be the same one, was in Florida by 1950 or soon thereafter, and it was gone by the mid-1960s, if not earlier. [Jerry Cullum, 10/20/2008]

Found this postcard for Midget City in Milan, OH. The back reads: "MIDGET CITY: The Biggest Little City in the World, in Milan, Ohio. Located two blocks south of the birthplace of Thomas A. Edison, on the same street. A complete city in an outdoor setting, constructed entirely by one man. Visited annually by thousands of people. Open May 1 to October 31."
