Muffler Man

There is a muffler man in front of the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis. According to Mike, the owner, he obtained this muffler man from Nevada. One of the arms has been broken and reattached in a way to make it possible for the muffler man to be holding a beer glass in one hand and a cigar in the other.

This year at Sturgis I saw this Muffler Man at the Full Throttle Saloon, right outside town. I think this is the one that used to be near Reptile Gardens south of Rapid City. [Turns out the Rapid City Man is still in place...]

Wendover, UT Muffler Man

The Wendover, UT Muffler Man (not to be, but may be, confused with the Wendover, NV Muffler Man), next to the Shell gas station, is asleep on the job, now laying supine on the roof of its establishment. A pair of bent hands and previously used guy wires are all that are now visible. Last seen standing upright in summer of 2001.
