This muffler man, sadly, is gone. He had been in front of the Better Deal Pawn Shop but the store owner says that she sold him to "a couple of guys from South Dakota a couple of years ago and he's gone." [Roger Sleight, 06/30/2008]

Wendover, Utah - Muffler Man The scary clown Muffler man of Wendover, NV is no longer. I had been trying to find him for over a year. Tonight I spotted him!! It's not that I didn't notice him before, it's just that he hasn't been in town, apparently he was off on tour?! Anyway, he's still at a pawn shop on the main strip in Wendover, but now he's on ground level and he's no longer wearing the spotted shirt or clown makeup. He's your run of the mill cowboy with blonde hair, black shirt and blue jeans. [Catherine Oakeson, 01/25/2004]
