Artist Tom Moran unveiled his Gerald R. Ford in 2012, a welded, plate steel depiction of the late President and Michigan native he created at his business, Moran Iron Works.
In addition to the George Washington statue and the missing eagle bust, there's now a Marine Corps bust and Atlas Holding the World. The marine is on the other side of the road from George Washington, and Atlas is in town. Well worth the detour off the main roads![Casey Blair, 09/30/2007]

On Highway 68 just West of Onaway, Michigan a giant bust of George Washington rests in a field watching traffic go by. He appears to be made of stainless steel. I don't know the name of the artist, but the bust was fabricated in the nearby Moran Iron Works. An even more impressive sculpture of an eagle's head can be seen in the center of Onaway itself.
