The Quarter House - Gone "The Quarter House" as my friends called it in 1996 is as follows: Someone put an old clothing dryer on an old door down by the Kaw "Kansas" river in north
Lawrence. The Quarter House has a glass port hole (like a ship's round window) to look through. You put a quarter in the door, and the removed motor has a big clear plastic disc on it that spins for about a minute. It used to have a guy's picture on it and a bra.
