Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts - Methodist Tabernacle While in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard we visited the Methodist campground
and in the center at Trinity Park is one of the largest wrought-iron structures in the
country, the Methodist Tabernacle. We parked illegally in a resident permit space to get a closer look. It looks like a cross between an
old corroded shed and a church, stained glass windows surrounded by rusty iron corrugated
roofing sheets. The beams holding the roof structure seem insufficent, and I
believe the owners think so too, as the entrance was blocked by "do not enter" signs.
Another National Landmark rusting away to nothing.
