Visitor Tips and News About Dinerland: Rosie's Diner, Food Mini Golf
Rosie's is closed. Restaurant is an absolutely filthy mess, from foundation to dining rooms to kitchens.[LV, 11/22/2011]
The food alone is worth the trip from anywhere! The classic diner ambience is just an added bonus![Jenny Myers, 05/17/2011]
We had heard of Rosie's Diner on the Food Network and the Travel Channel, so decided to include it in our vacation plans through Michigan. We're so glad we did!
Although we were disappointed that the waitresses no longer donned the vintage pink uniform, the delicious food more than made up for it! The waitress was a charmer and she really was knowledgeable about the diner's past and seemed passionate about her job.
The diner itself was worn and dated, yet clean and had a familiar feeling of days gone by.[Gavin O'Malley, 01/31/2010]
The new owners at Rosie's Diner have made a big difference so far. The original Rosie's has been spiffed up and the food is really upgraded. We've tried the hot roast beef sandwich, fried bologna sandwich (!), burgers and shakes. All were excellent.
Even better, the diner next door has been refurbished and opened back up as a sports bar. They did a nice job, and the diner menu is available there, too.[Jay Woods, 08/30/2006]
