Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - Antlers Restaurant - Taxidermy Decor The Antlers Bar is a must stop for lunch or dinner. There are a lot of stuffed animals, and you will find customers from all walks of life. Our family has been going there for over 35 yrs and it is not far from the Soo Locks or the Ship Valley Camp. The burgers and steaks are great and they have a full bar . It gets real busy on the weekends or when LSSU Lakers have a home hockey game. [Larry Sproul, 01/21/2008]
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - Antlers Restaurant The best taxidermy restaurant in Michigan. The entire place is filled with stuffed critters. They're everywhere. [Karen Faaleolea, 01/19/2006]
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - Antlers Restaurant Situated facing the the Saint Mary's River, this restaurant is a unique place to sit and watch stuffed wildlife (that covers almost every square inch of the walls) as well as to watch the river. The restaurant has a unique tradition of making a great deal of noise using whistles, pots and horns every time a Lake Freighter passes in front of the place. The meals are excellent with over-sized proportions. Well worth the visit. [K.P. McLean, 11/23/2000]
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - Best Taxidermy Bar and Restaurant While on vacation my husband and I were in Sault St. Marie...there is this really cool restaurant/bar called "Antlers"...It is filled with any and all kinds of stuffed animals you can imagine - polor bear, a pride of lions, local and exotic animals of all kinds. They even have a fish with fur that they claim was found in Lake Superior so far down in the cold depths that it needed fur to survive. (ok, maybe some are hard to believe) but it is still worth a visit if your passing through! Just ask anyone where Antlers is. [Victoria Mainwaring, 06/12/1998]
