Ned Kelly - Aussie Muffler Man?

This picture was taken in Glen Rowan, Australia, where Ned Kelly had his shootout with police. He is famous for his homemade armor (which didn't help him because the cops just shot his arms and legs). I immediately thought of roadsideamerica.com and the Muffler Men. Though surely not a genuine Muffler Man and not exactly being America, I thought it might interest fans of the Muffler Men.

Nearby I took photos of the place of the actual shootout. Big logs are stuck in the ground at the precise location of each shooter and they are painted to look like the person. It's very roadsideamerica-esque. [Dan, 11/16/2002]
