I worked on the red nose cone (reentry vehicle) that was used on this very missile when it was out in California. I made a special trip to see this missile which I had seen on an internet website. I was extremely disappointed when I got there. The very item that I worked on was missing -- the nose cone was blown off in a storm several years ago. The earlier tip photo doesn't reflect what it really looks like because I don't believe the town is going to restore it.
