Most Haunted Hotel in America: Ghost Tours

Haunted Crescent Hotel

You can tour the hotel at any time, but the ghost tours are in the evening of course. The staff was very friendly. Lots of ghost stories. The hotel was turned into the "Cancer Curable Baker Hospital" in the late 1930s. Dr. Baker, the founder, went to jail for fraud. The ghost tour ends in the hospital's morgue in the hotel's basement. The fourth floor bar/pizza restaurant has a nice outdoor deck with a great view.

Crescent Hotel Ghost Tour

The Crescent Hotel is well known in the area for spooky happenings. They claim to have several resident ghosts and many stories from employees, guests, and locals to back it up. Historically the building has been a Victorian era hotel, a girls school, and a cancer hospital. It is a hotel once again, and now they offer ghost tours in which they tell you about the hotel's history, resident ghosts, and stories of unusual occurrences. The tour is done in good taste and sometimes the groups will experience something spooky!
