The remarkable Hockey Stick and Puck stand in Eveleth. They are enormous, taking up a whole corner lot in downtown Eveleth. Eveleth is the "Hockey Capital of the United States", and has a wonderful museum on the edge of town overlooking the highway.
[Mrs. J. G. Nelson, 07/14/1998]City officials in Eveleth, MN are debating the merits of moving the "World's Largest Hockey Stick" from its downtown location to the nearby Hockey Hall of Fame. Business owners in the center of town insist that it attracts tourist dollars; the wobbly Hockey HoF insist they need it for the same reason.
