Visited the town museum while there looking for "Hoss." Very interesting, I recommend it.
[Tom Summers, 05/04/2017]Dan Blocker Head
Living in Lubbock at the time, I stumbled upon the Dan Blocker memorial when stopping for gasoline. I was told that it is not just the head of the man. Dan was six feet, four inches tall. The base of the statue represents his body height, then add his head with the hat to reach the total height of Dan as if standing face to face.
