Directions:: I-86 exit 21 or I-90 exit 55, and then north or south on US 219 to Ashford Hollow. Turn west onto Aherns Rd, drive around 2.5 miles, turn left onto Rt 75/Mill Valley Rd and drive 1.5 miles. Entrance on left.

Griffis Sculpture Park

Griffis Sculpture Park is one of the most interesting picnic locations in the Northeast. Offering everything from sculptured dinosaurs to sculptured water sprites, the 400 acres of walking trails, flowering trees, and artworks offer something for every age and taste. Best of all, the last time I visited (about 5 years ago), the park still required no admission fee. [Ron Paige, 05/28/2004]
