This was a fantastic museum just north across the street from the Corn Palace. Great ballooning history and even a large Nazi balloon on display - if you like that sort of thing. Hubby and I took pictures, but discovered half way across South Dakota that we didn't have film in our camera. Damn, damn, damn! Is it still open? Has anyone else been there?

The Soukup and Thomas International Balloon and Airship Museum closed in 2000. The collection was acquired by the Anderson-Abruzzo Balloon Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
