His moment of fame was as the "Riderless Horse" in John F. Kennedy's 1963 funeral procession, although JFK didn't ride horses.

US 50/Arlington Blvd to the Fort Myer main gate at N. Pershing Drive. Drive straight ahead to the parking lot. The grave is on the Parade Grounds directly ahead, toward the right and toward the back. It's surrounded by a hedge shaped like a horseshoe.
