Precious Moments Inspirational Park The people we met at Precious Moments are all really nice. The drive is a little off the main road, but it was beautiful. Well worth the time. [Michelle Cornelissens, 07/08/2011]
Precious Moments Chapel The grandest Precious Moments Chapel mural of them all, “Hallelujah Square” has recently been updated for possibly the last time. Butcher's final addition is the likeness of his mother, Evelyn, complete with her black, flowing hair and holding a turtle, with a white bird hovering nearby.
The mural — Butcher’s favorite — depicts a child being welcomed to heaven, with a ministering Jesus in the distance.
Butcher was quoted last year in an article by Kevin McClintock for Gatehouse News Service: "I think this year, after doing the work that I’ve done, I’m going to sign my signature on the front of 'Hallelujah Square.' Usually, when an artist signs his signature on his work, it means he’s finished. So I think I’ll finally be finished with my work." [G. Godding, 07/02/2010]
