World's Oldest Santa Statue The once-creepy old Santa statue has been restored to its former glory. In fact, it may have been restored to a better glory than it has ever experienced. The site is now home not only to Santa, but to a Santa Claus Museum, an old post office, and an historic church. If you go at the right time of year you can find "elves" answering Santa's mail in the post office. While the newly-restored Statue isn't painted and lacks the creepy factor of the original, it's still a sight to behold.

World's Oldest Santa Statue Oblivious to the melancholy charm of the crumbling World's Oldest Santa Statue, the owners of Holiday World (a theme park across the street) have announced that Santa will get a makeover. Holiday World also announced that the 40-ton statue may be moved afterward to a "more visible" location.

We're digging the alabaster white, ancient Greek statue look that Santa has now. It's as if he just arrived after flying through a North Pole blizzard....
