Exiting one of the main freeway exits to this town on I-5 results in viewing the painfully "punny" sign: "WEED LIKE TO WELCOME YOU." Follow this same road down just a couple of blocks to the Shasta Mountain Gift Store, which features WEED souvenirs galore -- including "ENJOY WEED, CA" t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. The best find, however, is talking to the curator - Lanay - who claims she's "been here for 50 years, and boy isn't this cool?"
