Clyde's Critter Crossing

Most of Clyde's animals have been removed from the yard, and there is no longer much to see. This is because Clyde is getting on in years and could not easily move around the yard.

Critters in the neighborhood.

Clyde Jones' Critter Crossing

Really suggest driving around all of Bynum Hill Road to see how the critters have spread into every yard and facet of the community. They've even posted beautiful carved animal signs up everywhere about being slow and paying attention. Neighbors are all very friendly; just be polite and respect their community.

Santa Canoe.

Clyde Jones' Critter Crossing

Critter creator Clyde Jones has his house decked out for the holidays. There's a global warming theme in the front yard, with a chainsaw Santa having to canoe his way around the world. We also noticed that nearly every resident of Bynum NC has their Clyde critter decorated with Christmas lights.

I just wanted to let y'all know that Clyde's dog, Speck (who is referenced in Clyde's tips) died over the summer of 2006. Speck is buried in the yard under a very nice cedar cross made by a neighbor.
