Indianapolis, Indiana - Action Duckpin Bowl and Atomic Bowl Duckpin bowling consists of 10 pins all 6-8" high. The balls thrown weigh three lbs. a piece. A game consists of 3 balls per frame. Scoring is similar to regular bowling, but the game takes a little longer.
There are two alleys in the Fountain Square Theatre Building. The one on the 4th floor, Action Bowl, is set in a 1930's decor, similar to the original bowling alley that was there in the 30's. The one on the lower level, Atomic Bowl, is set in a 1950s decor, complete with neon lights and vintage bowling shirts.
This game is fun for all ages; 2 year olds as well as 86 year olds can play. The ball is light, the game is challenging.
