- New Jersey Naval Museum. I-80 exit 66. From west: At end of ramp, left onto Vreeland Ave. At stoplight, left onto Hudson St., then turn left and go under I-80. At first stoplight, turn right (E. Kennedy), go one block, turn left at light onto River St./Hwy 503. Head north for less than a mile. Driveway on right, just before Heritage Restaurant. From east: Straight off ramp (E. Kennedy), past first light (Hudson St.), then left at second light onto River St./Hwy 503. Head north on River St./Hwy 503 for less than a mile. Driveway on right, just before Heritage Restaurant.

Submarine U.S.S. Ling
Very worth seeing; history, technology, adventure, and appreciating WWII vets all in one. I took a bunch of guys there on a Gentlemen's Adventure Society outing and we all loved it.

There is a Submarine Memorial in Borg Park, near the USS Ling submarine, according to an old postcard in our collection. The torpedo is enshrined in memory of the 3,505 men lost aboard submarines during WW2, men lost aboard all submarines, and the USS Gudgeon, lost on her 12th war patrol. Three separate plaques, meaning that the Gudgeon crew is memorialized three times.
