Citrus Attraction at Boyett Groves The Citrus Attraction includes a large gift shop and zoo with dinosaur themed areas. One current dinosaur cave with several exhibits and second dinosaur area is under construction, hopefully to open soon. The zoo has a wide variety of animals including monkeys, zebra, emu, alligators as well as variety of other local species. There is also a large aquarium and tropical bird aviary. Offers a large variety of citrus fruit in the growing season.
[Tyler Thornton, 08/27/2011]Old Florida roadside citrus processing plant, huge Florida gift shop, aquarium, and zoo located in hilly region of central Florida. Loads of old timey Florida souvenirs, candies, jellies, etc. Zoo is $2.50 for adults and has the typical alligator, civet cats, monkeys, ostriches, large turtles, deer, exotic birds, etc. The zoo and aquarium are spotless as are the entire attraction. This place has been around since who-knows-when.
