Paul Broste Rock Museum: I grew up on a farm near Parshall and can remember as a child visiting Mr. Broste's farm, where he housed his collection in an outbuilding. Mr. Broste never married, but he did have a nephew and several great-nephews. The town of Parshall is attempting to find a source of funding to maintain the museum; I'm sure any assistance would be welcomed.

I still have an agate Mr. Broste gave me with a crescent shape in the middle. He was somewhat of a recluse, but allowed school children to visit his rocks. [Kristi Cabbage, 06/03/1997]
