Hay Bales, Toilet, and a Chair I got back from a trip through Nebraska about a month ago. Just north of Carhenge is a "rest stop" that we were told by someone in the next town north that we "had to hit." It's basically a bunch of hay bales with a toilet and a green recliner, with a sign on the front that says "rest stop." There's a notebook there to record comments and suggestions. It's a very good lead in to Carhenge, about half a mile down the road. [Kim, 08/15/1999]
