Visitor Tips and News About America's Longest Railroad Trestle, Formerly
Off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. We were lucky enough to see a train go across.[Bob, Laura, & Katie Martin, 05/05/2013]
For years the Solsberry Trestle was the Longest Railroad Trestle in America. I have since heard there is one longer. When going to look at it; I stopped at the Solsberry General Store. I asked directions and was given very friendly, concise directions. Then as I was leaving the storekeeper said "If you don't find it, don't come back." I thought that was funny! For years it has been a spot for thrill seekers to bungy jump and young kids to make out.[Kristal Slager, 01/09/2004]
