Directions:: Go to the Solsberry store and ask for directions. Or ... from I-70 exit 41 drive south many miles on US 231 to Worthington. Turn east on Hanna St./Hwy 157 for 3.5 miles, then turn right to stay on Hwy 157 for another 1.5 miles. Turn left onto CR-400 N for 1.5 miles, then turn right onto CR-300 E and then quickly left back onto CR-400 N. Follow for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto CR-410 E. After less than a mile, turn right onto CR-480 E. The Trestle is a half-mile ahead.

For years the Solsberry Trestle was the Longest Railroad Trestle in America. I have since heard there is one longer. When going to look at it; I stopped at the Solsberry General Store. I asked directions and was given very friendly, concise directions. Then as I was leaving the storekeeper said "If you don't find it, don't come back." I thought that was funny! For years it has been a spot for thrill seekers to bungy jump and young kids to make out. [Kristal Slager, 01/09/2004]
